I decided to make some effects for an older 3D piece I did, my PBR pedestal.
While creating everything I wanted to teach myself some new tricks inside the engine:
2D Flow maps and 3D Vector fields! I generated those in Maya, using the Flow maps for things like swirling smoke and the Vector fields for more natural motion of GPU particles
